Who needs power?

I must be getting used to life without electricity: last night when
the power went off (as it does most days, until the compounds own
generator kicks in) i didn't even flinch, though i reminded myself
that i should take a torch with me wherever i go, in case i get caught
short. Josef and i had a candlelit breakfast the other day - very
practical.
