My little pedometer tells me I walked 2.6miles today, which feels like it has mostly been up and down stairs on site
Sitting in the morning traffic, you try to find similarities to home. At first it's hard to find anything which reminds me of home, but then a few things spring to mind from the last few days here. I saw some crunchy nut cornflakes in a supermarket yesterday, but was then brought down to earth as there's not much milk round here. Dried milk might work I suppose. The fact that there is a supermarket is one thing, with a reasonable selection of tins, jars and bottles. I'd call it a supermarket in that it's considerably bigger than the roadside stalls, but it's certainly no Tesco – or even CoOp. It even has a wide selection of cheese from around the world – cheddar and mozarrella. That's it.
